First impressions are the most important. Trim & edge your lawn, cultivate flowerbeds, repaint chipped or peeling exterior, and make sure your front door and stoop are clean and inviting.



Hospitable Lighting
Open curtains and blinds to give an impression of friendliness, warmth, and space. Turn on all lights during late showings.



Fresh Scent
If your house has an odor, get rid of it. If you don't know if your house smells then ask someone who will give you an honest answer. Odor can stain the carpet, pads, slab, furniture, drapes, etc. Ask your REALTOR® for advice on how to eliminate odor.



Home Care
Sticking drawers, loose doorknobs, warping cabinet doors, and dripping faucets can cause prospects to wonder if the home has been well maintained.
